She was one of the first woman ever to travel on her own, and her subsequent books are all fascinating reading, including A Lady’s Life in the Rocky Mountains, and Unbeaten Tracks in Japan.   This book has to be the all time best travel book for Maui!!! Not only did we find all the best snorkel spots and places to eat, but the book was so entertaining that even the kids were reading it. Great investment.
